Step 5: Fill in the blanks

Congratulations, you are a great step closer to your perfect wardrobe. Now it’s time to go shopping!! Get the list you made while cleaning your closet of things you need. Look on the outfits you created and see if something is missing to make your look perfect. Maybe a special kind of shoe you need to complete several outfits, or a jacket, a stunning jeans ect. Prefer items that can easily transition between various occasions! Than you will have a lot more value of it! If it’s difficult to make a decision between two items, for example like a perfect fitting 7/8 tuxedo pant in an amazing red and a thigh-high leather stiletto boot, make the following test: Go through the different occasions you need to dress for: Weekend casual: wear the red tuxedo pants with ballerinas, with a t-shirt and a grosgrain knitwear cardigan or a black biker leather jacket, hair in a slightly messy ponytail. Thigh-high leather stiletto boot are not very casual. Office: (if have not a very restricted dress code) wear the red tuxedo pants with a white button down shirt, a black jacket and black pumps, hair in a bun. Thigh-high leather stiletto boots are not an adequate option for office. Formal: wear the red tuxedo pants with a black lace top, stunning high heels and wavy hair. Even for a formal event thigh-high leather stiletto boots are not an adequate option. Night out: wear the red tuxedo pants with a black leather top or rhinestone top, platform heels and sleek hair. You can wear the leather stiletto boots with a leather legging or a fitted black skirt and a sheer blouse and hair pulled back. This example shows that it’s good to think about the occasions an item fits in and the options you can mix it with, to check how useful it will be for you. Make sure you really just buy what really increases your wardrobe. Don’t buy something just because it looks good or it’s on sale! Have a fun shopping trip! Xoxo Johara
